If you are 55 years of age or more and are frail, impaired, ill or convalescing, you can ask for REAL HELP. You will be put in touch with caregivers and other workers who have been carefully interviewed and screened to do housework, laundry, cooking, personal care, pet care, companionship, gardening, sewing and mending, correspondence, driving, shopping, errands and minor home repairs. “Tap & Be Happy” – No One is Too Old or Ever Out of Step

What are “Empty-nesters,” “Singles-again,” “Retired,” and “Forever-young Adults and Active Seniors” doing to have fun and keep in shape these days? They are tap dancing in classes called “Tap & Be Happy.”

Meeting at the Goleta Community Center Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the early afternoon, this band of enthusiastic, fun go-getters are dancing their way to a happier, healthier life.

As Dr. Marilyn Perry put it when asked why she is taking tap dance, “When I heard the title, “Tap & Be Happy,” how could I resist?”
