Support Jodi House by participating it their 7th annual Walk for Brain Injury on Saturday, March 1st. The walk will take place at Leadbetter Beach.

Jodi House empowers brain injury survivors to reconnect, rebuild and move forward together within our community. It supports both brain injury survivors and their families. The Jodi House day program offers activities to re-spark interests, foster new relationships and encourage the physical, cognitive and behavioral recovery of brain injury survivors. The Resource and Referral Program offers critical support and resources for caregivers and family members. By participating in the Walk for Brain Injury, you are supporting these services and allowing Jodi House to continue to expand their impact to those who need their services the most.

Healthy Aging Symposium April 18th & 19th at Antioch University

Antioch University is holding their first symposium on Healthy Aging, Friday April 19th from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday April 20th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  This Symposium is open to professional therapists, family members, and anyone with an interest in the physical, social, spiritual, and psychological well-being of our elders. Rod will talk about the variety of talented acts that will make up the Seniors Have Talent Show at the Marjorie Luke Theatre on April 6th at 2 p.m.  If you attend you are guaranteed to not be bored and are sure to be impressed by the talent. 

The show starts at 6 p. m. and general admission is $20, kids are $10.  Tickets are available at the door. 

 

Later in the show, Senior District Attorney Vicki Johnson will talk about the latest scams targeting seniors in our area.
