Musical duo, Trudy Bixby and Oscar Maynez, have been bringing ‘musical medicine’ to seniors in the Santa Barbara area for the past 13 years. Their main focus has been entertaining residents of various residential homes, hospice, elderly care facilities, etc., using their music as a healing modality. They also visit seniors in their homes.
Don L. Higley shares a poem about the power of music and provides insight into its primal, healing qulities. Below, is Don’s beautiful poem.
